Abstract

This study will examine the satisfaction of clients who are being served by CareStar’s OhioRISE program. OhioRISE is a Medicaid managed care initiative designed to help youth, ages 0-20, with complex behavioral and multisystem needs. Wraparound care is a type of team-based coordination that is individualized and used to improve the outcomes of youth with severe emotional or behavioral disorders. To help evaluate the effectiveness of the wraparound care through OhioRISE, satisfaction surveys were administered and completed by the populations served in numerous counties for the 2025 calendar year. The sample included all participating counties of the OhioRISE program, specifically through CareStar, which resulted in 220 returned surveys to analyze. A parent/guardian completed the surveys if the client was under the age of 18. The results, which will be shared, will provide a critical analysis of whether enrolled individuals/families are satisfied with the wraparound care in which they are receiving.
