The St. Xavier College Student Registry, 1840-1870, (also referred to as the Alumnorum Album Regula) is a handwritten, bound ledger listing students enrolled in coursework during the sessions 1840-1841 through 1869-1870. The ledger includes pages with columns for name, parent or guardian, residence, date of entrance, rank (day or boarder), age, religion, department, and remarks. The registry also includes the college's schedule, curriculum, rules, and expectations of both boarders and day scholars. Many of the student names also appear in the Catalogue of Students published annually in the college's course catalogs, but not all.
