Abstract

This interview was recorded in a study room in the library at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. The interview is about Carlos Julca’s personal immigration experience. We talked about the obstacles of the immigration process and the obstacles of living in a new country. This interview is important because it gives an intimate and first-hand perspective about immigration. It is when we talk with others that we learn to put ourselves in another person’s shoes.
