King Studios Mobile Exhibit: The History of King Records This three-part mobile exhibit, consisting of thirty-one panels is divided into 3 parts: “The Lost History of Rock and Roll, 1943-1953,” “The King of them All, 1954-1963,” and “The Birthplace of Funk, 1964-1973.” The exhibit was created by Chris Schadler and Brian Powers for King Studios and was funded by Arts Wave.
