Funeral prayer card for Clifford Besse, 1915-1977. The front of the card has a photograph of Father Besse. The back of the card contains biographical information and a prayer for the repose of his soul. This card was made by an unknown publisher. He was a professor of economics and an associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio).

Grant, we beseech Thee, O Lord, that the soul of Thy servant, Clifford, whom Thou hast honored in this life with the sacred functions of the Priesthood, may forever rejoice in the bliss of heaven. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
