Funeral prayer card for Thomas Gleason, 1909-1976. The front of the card contains a photograph of Father Gleason. The back of the card contains biographical information and a prayer for the repose of his soul. This card was made by an unknown publisher. Gleason was assistant rector of the Jesuit community at Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio).

God of mercy, you are the hope of sinners and the joy of saints. We pray for our brother Thomas whose body we honor with Christian burial. Give him happiness with your saints, and raise up his body in glory at the last day to be in your presence for ever. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
