The tenth meeting was held January 24-25, 2003, at Xavier University. The readings were by E. H. Moore: first, his A doubly infinite system of simple groups (in Mathematical Papers Read at the [1893] International Mathematical Congress, Macmillan,1896), in which he contributed to early work on the classification of finite groups; and also On the foundations of mathematics (Science, vol.
