The back of the card contains biographical information and a prayer for the repose of his soul. The card was made by an unknown publisher. King was a professor of theology at Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio).

Entered into Life May 27, 1926 Entered the Society of Jesus February 10, 1944 Ordained a Priest June 19, 1957 Entered into Eternal Life August 20, 2009 May he rest in peace. Prayer. Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, and my entire will, all that I have and possess. You have given it all to me. To You, O Lord, I return it. All is yours, dispose of it wholly according to your will. Give me your live and your grace for this is sufficient for me. -Prayer of St. Ignatius Loyola.
