Funeral prayer card of John Sherry, 1902-1979. The front of the card contains a photograph of Father Sherry. The back of the card contains biographical information and a prayer for the repose of his soul. The card was made by an unknown publisher. Sherry was an assistant to the rector of the Jesuit community at Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio).

Xavier University, Cincinnati Born: September 7, 1902 Entered the Society of Jesus: March 6, 1932 Died: July 13, 1979 at Colombiere Infirmary May he rest in peace. Prayer. Receive, O Lord, all my liberty. Take my memory, my understanding, and my entire will. Whatsoever I have or hold You have given me; I give it all back to You and surrender it wholly to be governed by Your will. Give me only Your love and Your grace, and I am rich enough and ask for nothing more.
